Profile - Complete social Interaction for Anime & Manga fans |

Here is a sneak peek on how Nihonomaru's Wall tab looks like. The system is very sophisticated and elegant and we wanted to create something with a simple look and attractive.
Many anime and manga fans been using social media like Facebook, Tumbler, Google+ and you name it to spread their love about anime and manga but there hasn't been a single anime site so far that came with an extensive features catering at social interaction but with the focus toward the anime and manga fans.
Nihonomaru will be the first website to focus on the social aspect relative to anime and manga and we are extending those features every day. I won't spoil all the features yet but i will leave you with few sneak peeks!
Here is a sneak peek of the Wall page. In the wall page, you can like certain posts, you can comments on your friends' wall. Share images or videos and much more.
And who doesn't like to have a fantasy Photo tab which loads images automatically as you scroll down the browser! :) We've made it happen.
We've not only allowed you to share images but you have a complete elegant UI (user interference) like the one you see today on modern social network sites. Honestly, not even Vbulletin have reached this quality when it comes to sharing images. This just proves to you the level of hard work we put every day in order to bring great features that you will love. We love our community and we want them to enjoy their time after a long day of work or after a hard day at college or school - I know how it feels.
When you click on one of your photo or even a gif, you will be able to tag your friends in those photos, comment on those photos and much more :)
Oh and we are not done yet. Who doesn't love blogging, many love blogging about anime and manga. We've created blogging for those who love to blog. We've made the design simple and elegant, yet unique. I will only show you how an article looks like on your profile blog tab page without spoiling how the Main Blog page looks like, or its features and how you use it :) but we are very excited, especially with the sophisticated editor we currently use.
Now comes our last revealed feature for the day. Notifications. Every one loves to be notified when a friend sends you a pm, or likes your photo, or writes on your wall and so on. Well we've seen the drop down menu and the live notification in the past but we haven't disclosed the main notification page, now you will see it!

Main Anime tab + Lvl system |

Nihonomaru Main Anime Tab - this will be how anime pages look when beta is launched by end of June! :)
You will be able to recommend anime to your friends, you will be able to review an anime and give it a score on a scale of 10 - decimals rating are included! i.e., 7.3 I know this is a big deal for many reviewers and I haven't seen an anime site that has that sort of rating scale yet. Even MAL works on the scale of 1-10 but without decimals.
So lets take a look at what we've shared before:
You will be able to create anime pages and submit it to get it indexed in our Database after approval. As a reward, you will receive experience points in order to buy cool anime awards! :) remember the system works with leveling up, so let say level 7 required 2,500 points, if you buy an award that costs 500 points then you lose those points and you level down. So it is a system that is built on the idea of give and take.
Taking a closer look at the right side of the profile Info Tab, you will see the lvl system where your lvl is and your points. You head to the award page for buying awards, some awards can be bought and others can be requested based on certain requirements and only approved by the staff. I won't disclose how the award page looks, will leave it for later :)
How you gather points?
What you do on the site rewards you with points. So submitting Anime or Manga to out database and after it gets approved earns you points. Submiting streaming links from Hulu, or Youtube or Crunchyroll etc rewards you with points. Creating episodes synopsis for Anime earns you point. Uploading Manga chapters to our Manga Reader, earns you point. Every activity on the site will earn you points.
We are developing Nihonomaru in a way that is built based on the community. So it is the community who will submit Manga and Anime to be indexed, of course after a mod approves it after seeing that you followed our guidelines and it is organized and written in good grammar. We don't want to spam synopsis or summaries from Myanimelist or Animenewsnetwork like other sites do i.e., copy/paste. We want to built our own deep Synopsis and Information.
Will take it step at a time, it is fun and we aren't in a hurry :)

Hi everyone,
We are working on a t-shirt design that we would like to release with the launch of our Homepage beta. 
So probably those who don't know me personally, I am really picky! That said, i pay close attention to the smallest details. Some might already tell from the way Niho forum was designed :0) However, I'd like to hear your feedback regarding the t-shirts and your suggestions.
If you like to work on a mockup, you can pm me your ideas and design and i will look at it!

Homepage sneak peek |

Hi everyone,
Here is a sneak peak from the live version of the homepage. We strive not only for style and quality but also quantities in term of features.
The first "100" likes [On FB] will get an early invite to our beta! ETA for beta is suppose to be by the end of April but no promises. However, that is our aim.
We've decided to release beta excluding the manga reader, in order to get beta out earlier and while beta is out, we will be working on the manga reader and its functions.
For those who are curious about how some of the features will work, we can't discuss any of this untill we release our beta :) I hope you like what you see.
